Skin glue is a mixture of gluten and lower cleavage products. Made by washing tanned leather with hot water. The obtained water percolate is concentrated, cooled and dried. The glue is light yellow to dark brown in color. The glue is granular, with grains of irregular size, with crushed (grain diameter approx. 1.5-2.5 mm) and non-crushed grains (grain diameter approx. 3.5-4.5 mm). Bone glue can also be a very good substitute.
