Labostera paper molding machine
PLM is a paper molding machine for the restoration and conservation of printed documents, books, newspapers, works of art on paper. During the process, holes and torn edges are filled in the paper mass, the dimensions are chosen by the restorer. The paper mass, dissolved in water, is allowed through a dense network through a PLC-controlled valve. The paper fibers settle on the net, they fill the holes and the edges of the leaves. The excess water is poured into a container for this purpose. The new paper fibers adhere to the original document - we have a homogeneous and strong sheet of paper.
PROPERTIES All surfaces are waterproof and do not require special care. Cleaned with soapy water. The machine consists of: a plastic container on an aluminum frame, a plastic net for casting, PE film (to reduce the casting area), a plastic grate with a handle, a pipeline, a separately placed plastic container for water, a knife-type damper with a pneumatic drive, a PLC and a control panel, air compressor to be ordered separately. The water used in the casting process does not need to be changed for subsequent castings. To maintain the device, it is sufficient to periodically flush the pipeline and the containers of pouring and used water.
