 The Micro Steam Generator STEAMY PR is a precision tool designed to meet the needs of a paper conservator who requires a device that can be adjusted to select a fine or powerful flow of superheated steam; for the base, adhesive tapes, fasteners, etc. removal, as well as for the local removal of stains and impurities on paper products. The steam is delivered through a 1.5m heated tube and is precisely prepared for spot treatment without drips. To avoid dripping The required pressure is 3.5 bar to avoid dripping and no spraying. The temperature of the steam e rises to about 160 °C and this causes the water to condense in the pipe; heating time is approximately 15 minutes.
